- A high-speed broadband connection at your home or business through ADSL or cable. Your modem speed needs have at least 50kbps upstream and downstream capacity.

- A modem or router that use Ethernet, not USB*. If you don't have an Ethernet port, you need to purchase an USB to Ethernet adapter to use with Voxion VoIP Gateway (Analogue Telephone Adapter - ATA).* See hints below
Hints:
- If you will only use a softphone on your computer and don't plan to use a VoIP Gateway you do not need an adapter, your USB ADSL modem will work just fine.
